Part Civilization, part Dune: Spice Wars, part StarCraft — built around one obsession: scale you can actually see.
A huge iso-2D map spanning 2048×1024 tiles. Found cities, claim territory, raise armies, and fight rival empires in a three-way free-for-all.
Drop into any claimed tile and lay out a 32×32 grid of buildings and roads. Macro decides where; micro decides what each district produces.
A 13-resource stock-and-flow economy. Forests, rock, and ore are real nodes on the map — and they deplete. Specialize or run dry.
Infantry, tanks, IFVs, helicopters, jets, destroyers, and subs — GPU-instanced and baked from 3D models, fighting at unusual scale.
A free-for-all of AI opponents expanding, building, and warring across the same world you do — no scripted lanes, just rival empires.
~10,000 active units at a 30 Hz sim and 60 FPS render, with combat, projectiles, and air all live.
One tile is 1,600 ft of ground. The whole map is generated, simulated, and visible — terrain, lakes, resources, and armies.
Pre-alpha footage. Art, UI, and effects are in active development.
Sovereign Empires is being built in the open as a solo project under SinWare. Want updates as it grows toward a playable release?
